Philip Robbins, Founder and President

Phil is a native Californian and has always enjoyed living in the Golden State. In 1984, he started working as an insurance agent in Northern California. Right away, he began to sell Medicare Supplements and Long-Term Care insurance products from a host of different insurance companies. Early in his career, Phil began to realize how important insurance is to the financial health and well-being of individuals and families. He made it his mission to identify the needs of the customer and meet those needs the best way possible.

In the early 1990’s, Phil was appointed as Illinois State Manager for Associated California State Insurance Agencies, which was a subsidiary of Conseco, Inc. This was a national marketing company specializing in Long-Term Care insurance. It was his job to recruit and direct insurance agents in the field. Phil was also in charge of Large-Group negotiations for the same marketing company. He negotiated with the State and Federal Governments to provide Long-Term Care insurance to public employees.

In 1995, Phil started Secure West Insurance Marketing, Inc. as a General Insurance Agency, which specialized in Medicare and Long-Term Care insurance products. He also started the Property and Casualty division at Secure West Insurance Marketing, Inc. This expansion made Secure West a well-diversified insurance agency capable of serving individuals, families, and businesses.

Phil can really see how the right insurance plans are helping people cope with the unexpected and succeed in their lives. Now, he is also an insurance advisor to numerous Medical Clinics and Hospitals in California. Phil looks forward to assisting you with your insurance needs.
